Zoodles and Meat Sauce

IMG_0541I LOVE Italian food, and frequently make a batch of homemade meat sauce to use in a variety of recipes. Tonight I had some over zucchini noodles. Here’s the recipe, which was my mother’s as well…

1 lb lean ground beef (or turkey)

1 small can tomato paste

1 large can crushed tomatoes

1 large can Tomato puree

minced garlic or garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, salt, pepper to taste

I topped my zoodles with grated Parmesan cheese.

In addition to the above meal, here’s 2 more zoodle dinners for the freezer, a jar of sauce for the fridge and 4 more for the freezer. I’m all about making ahead, having delicious ingredients on hand, and pinching pennies too!
